Ambassador Program Volunteer Opportunity

Would you like to assist in the recruiting efforts of the Coast Guard by sharing your experiences and knowledge with potential applicants and recruits? Then, the Coast Guard Recruiting Command (CGRC) Ambassador Program is the place for you! CGRC Ambassadors are motivated members of the Coast Guard who volunteer their time and efforts to augment Coast Guard recruiters when needed. Ambassadors are typically asked to assist at career fairs and conferences, mentor applicants, or assist prospective recruits with the application process. Rear Admiral Michael Johnston is now the Coast Guard’s Assistant Commandant

On April 22nd at 0900 the Coast Guard had a change of watch:  Rear Admiral Michael Johnston is now the Coast Guard’s Assistant Commandant for Acquisitions and Chief Acquisitions Officer.  As CAO, he directs efforts across all Coast Guard acquisition programs, acquisition support, personnel, finance, and research and development activities to execute the service’s acquisition portfolio. CONGRATS Admiral Johnston!
