Students who join the STEM workforce make important contributions to improving our national living standards, economic growth, and global competitiveness. They fuel a nation’s innovative capacity through their work in research and development and in other technologically advanced activities. Interest in STEM is what helps inspire the latest phones, tablets, high-speed internet, and so much more. Find opportunities to accelerate the development of autonomous cars, space travel, and improvements in health and medicine.

NNOA and USNA STEM Center are focused on addressing an urgent national need for more young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The National Naval Officers Association (NNOA) Mission is to enhance Sea Service operational readiness by supporting recruiting, professional development, and retention to achieve a diverse officer corps that reflects the demographics of our Nation. USNA faculty and midshipmen provide STEM outreach to local and national communities to engage and influence students and teachers.
