Senior and Junior Officer Networking Event
WHO: Cadets, Midshipmen and Junior Officers (01-03) and Senior Officers (06 and above)
WHEN: Wednesday, 26 July at 1800
WHERE: Determined by number of attendees. Minimum of 60 participants needed.
ATTIRE: Business Casual
In a relaxed environment, junior officers will have an opportunity to engage senior officers on their best practices and their views on where their service is heading, etc. Junior Officers can engage with some of the Sea Service’s most influential leaders. This event is designed for junior and senior officers to share with each other on a more personal level, but remain professional.
The senior officers will be at the event for the junior officer. If you have trouble finding the appropriate opportunity to speak with senior officers, you will appreciate this social. Senior officers at this event want to hear from you and offer their advice and opinions to your most pressing questions.
This is not a structured event, but we will take time at various points to award door prizes to the junior officers in attendance. You must be present to claim a door prize.
This is a 411 event not a 911 event. If your career is at an emergency point (911), you will gain more by having that discussion during a one-on-one career counseling session on Thursday morning. You can sign up for a session with a senior officer to discuss your specific issue by using the careering counseling tab on the registration page.
