Dear National Naval Officers Association,

The last four years have been a roller coaster. I have learned a grand amount about life and it has molded me into the man I am today. The challenges I faced have shaped my character and created in me an ever growing flame to continue to become better. In regards to the HBCU Outstanding Graduate Award it is with deep gratitude and reverence that I accept this award that the association has decided to give me. Many thanks to all who contributed. This honor has increased my flame greatly and I will continue to strive for excellence. Thank you all!

Very Respectfully,
Midshipman 1/C Erikson J. Cherilus
