Lorraine Santirosa

Lorraine Santirosa also known as the “VA Queen” is proud to serve military families and veterans with their real estate needs in San Diego.

As a 20 year former Navy spouse, Lorraine knows first hand the challenges military families face with constant deployments and relocation. Her experience as a VA Homebuying Expert makes her the most qualified Realtor in San Diego serving the military and veteran community. She specializes in helping active duty military families purchase homes using their VA home loan benefit with zero money down. Helping military homeowners who need to sell due to PCS orders or to purchase a bigger home is also part of what she does.

Lorraine is featured in the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Military Relocation Professional certification (MRP) for her expertise in the real estate community. The nationally syndicated newspaper Military Times also featured Lorraine Santirosa in an article “VA loan tips…take a second look at this surprising program.”

Lorraine is extremely passionate about helping veterans and military families realize the American dream of homeownership. In 2012, she worked with Congressman Filner, former Chairman of the US House Veterans Affairs Committee to reduce the VA appraisal time frame to help make the VA home buying process more efficient for veterans in the Phoenix region, which includes San Diego.

Lorraine Santirosa is a tireless advocate for veteran housing issues. By being a member of various groups such as Veteran Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), and Black American Political Action Association (BAPAC), she educates veterans and other real estate professionals about the VA home loan benefit. “When there are 22 million veterans nationwide and only 2 million active VA home loans, we as real estate professionals serving the military community have a lot of work to do”

In 2014, Lorraine Santirosa founded the website AgentsforVeterans.com, a worldwide network of agents serving members of the armed services and veterans with their real estate needs. Services provided include home buying, selling, VA loan approval, credit, VA loan facts, real estate agent referral and relocation.

Having been a REALTOR® serving veterans for more than 15 years, Lorraine has coined the phrase “Own Where You Serve” because she’s on a mission to increase homeownership for veterans and change people’s lives.

Lorraine regularly conducts First Time Military Homebuyer workshops and advises community organizations and elected officials about veteran home ownership.
